Code of Conduct
WELCOME TO PASEO NUEVO
Paseo Nuevo, including the parking area, is Private Property.
It is our goal to provide a safe, secure and pleasant environment.
Paseo Nuevo requests your cooperation in complying with the following Code of Conduct set forth to protect Paseo Nuevo’s legitimate business interests and our guests. Any persons violating this Code of Conduct will be asked to leave the Center.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Physically or verbally threatening or harassing of any person, fighting, following another person, annoying others through noisy activities, unnecessary staring, gestures, provoking confrontations, disruptive conduct of any kind
- Running, skateboarding, skating, bicycling, scooters, the use of hover boards, obstructing or interfering with the free flow of pedestrian traffic Assembling in a manner that disturbs or has the potential to disrupt the public’s enjoyment of the Center
- Smoking, vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes
- Shouting, screaming, making loud noises, playing of musical instruments, radio/portable speakers or otherwise communicating in a manner which creates a noise of unreasonable volume and disrupts the peace of the Center
- Defacing, damaging or destroying any real or personal property belonging to Paseo Nuevo, its patrons or its merchants Using obscene language, obscene gestures, or racial, sexual, religious or ethnic slurs which are likely to create a disturbance which is disruptive to the commercial nature of the Center
- Wearing clothing, which is obscene or offensive in nature. You must be fully clothed while at the Center
- Congregating in unauthorized locations to include, but not limited to rear service corridors, service hallways, loading dock areas and stairwells
- Blocking access to store entrances, Center entrances, and corridor or parking areas
- Littering, discarding or depositing any paper, glass or other matter of any kind at the Center, except in designated trash receptacles
- Rummaging through or removing items for trash receptacles
- Taking photos, videos or any type of audio recordings of or along Paseo Nuevo property or its storefronts without prior written authorization
- Engaging in any non-commercial expressive activity without prior written permission and complying with the Center’s rules for such activities
- Engaging in any commercial activity not sponsored and/or conducted by the Center and/or an enterprise(s) engaged in business at the Center, other than certain qualified labor activity. This includes, without limitation, solicitation of money or other contributions or donations, or distribution of commercial advertising or promotional material of any kind, or offering samples of items which are sold, available for sale or available in exchange for donation or contribution
- Possessing any open container of alcohol or consuming alcohol anywhere, except in businesses licensed to sell alcoholic beverages
- Driving in an unsafe, erratic or carless manner, including, but not limited to, exceeding the posted speed limit or using a vehicle in manner prohibited by traffic markings, signage or otherwise obstructing traffic
- Overnight parking, parking in non-designated parking areas, parking in Fire lanes or other no parking areas; parking violators may be subject to towing at the vehicle owner’s expense
- Sitting or lying on floor/ground, planters, handrails, artwork, escalators, stairs, trash receptacles or other areas not specifically designed for seating
- Lying/Sleeping on benches, chairs, or seating areas
- School truancy policies are strictly enforced. During school hours, unaccompanied minors will be asked to leave the Center
- POSSESION OF WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE AND ANY ITEM THAT CAN BE USED AS A WEAPON OR ANY OBJECT THAT MAY BE USED IN ANY WAY TO INFLICT BODILY INJURY ON ANOTHER PERSON
- When Paseo Nuevo and its merchants are closed, you are required to leave the premises
